Since his election as Member of Parliament of the Republic of Cameroon on 22 March 2020, Hon. Bamenju has consistently represented Cameroon at UN High-Level Political Forums, Ocean Conferences, Internet Governance Forums, Cybercrime Conventions, Climate Change Summits, and Food Systems Platforms. Notably, he delivered an official statement on behalf of Parliamentarians for Global Action at the United Nations Ocean Conference in France, amplifying global parliamentary voice within the UN system.

Equally remarkable is his footprint in digital governance and cyber policy, with engagements at ICANN High-Level Government Meetings, Council of Europe cybercrime sessions in Strasbourg, and multiple African and global forums on AI, electronic evidence, and digital rights. His role in enabling Cameroon to become a state party to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime stands as a landmark contribution to national and international legal alignment.

Hon. Bamenju’s influence also extends to election observation and democratic governance, having served as a short-term international elections observer in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, while contributing to parliamentary capacity-building initiatives across Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America.
