Hon. Injoh Prodencia Demands Bold Reforms to Drive Cameroon’s Economic Turnover
Hon. Injoh Prodencia, Member of Parliament at the National Assembly of Cameroon, has called for bold legislative reforms capable of transforming the economic fortunes of Cameroon, stressing that the current parliamentary session must deliver concrete laws that will stimulate growth and position the country competitively on the global stage.
Speaking during the ongoing parliamentary session, the lawmaker emphasised that expectations from citizens are extremely high and that Parliament must rise to the challenge by producing impactful legislation that can generate meaningful economic turnover.
According to Hon. Injoh Prodencia, the moment demands decisive action from lawmakers to enact reforms that will modernise the economy and accelerate national development.
“For us to have real economic turnover in this country, expectations are very high,” she declared. “We are looking forward to strong laws and meaningful reforms that will keep our nation moving forward and enable us to stand shoulder to shoulder with other countries in the world.”
Her remarks underscore growing pressure on legislators at the National Assembly of Cameroon to go beyond routine debates and deliver transformative policies capable of unlocking economic opportunities, improving governance, and strengthening national competitiveness.
As deliberations continue, observers say the session presents a critical opportunity for Parliament to adopt forward-looking reforms that could reshape Cameroon’s economic landscape and respond to the aspirations of its citizens for growth, innovation, and prosperity.
