Hon. Injoh Prodencia Calls for Unity and Inclusiveness During GENERAL Assembly
A powerful message of unity, peace, and grassroots development echoed through the Mbengwi Municipal Guest House on March 7, 2026, as members of Momo Women for Peace gathered for their General Assembly. The meeting brought together administrative authorities, women leaders, youth representatives, and community stakeholders from across Momo Division in a renewed commitment to collective progress.
At the center of the gathering was Hon. Injoh Prodencia, Coordinator of the Momo Women for Peace, who delivered the welcome address on behalf of the movement’s founder, Justice Mbah Acha Rose née Fomundam, Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of the Supreme State Audit.
Speaking to an audience that included the Divisional Officer for Mbengwi, the Lord Mayor of Mbengwi Council, the Divisional Delegate of Women’s Empowerment and the Family, CPDM party officials, and leaders of women’s organizations, Hon. Injoh conveyed a message rooted in responsibility, peace, justice, and unity.
Quoting the organization’s guiding motto “Together for Peace, Justice, Unity, and Development” she stressed that the future of Momo Division depends on collective action and shared commitment among its people.
In her remarks, Hon. Injoh praised Justice Mbah Acha Rose as a distinguished daughter of Momo whose service at the Presidency continues to bring honor and visibility to the Division. She noted that the Minister’s role in safeguarding transparency and accountability within public institutions reflects values that must also guide development initiatives at the community level.
The message also underscored the importance of institutional stability under the leadership of Paul Biya, which, she said, has created opportunities for citizens from all regions of the country to rise to positions of national responsibility.
Hon. Injoh further highlighted the founder’s continued engagement across the five Sub-Divisions of Momo Mbengwi, Njikwa, Widikum, Ngie, and Batibo emphasizing that development must be inclusive and responsive to local realities.
According to the address, efforts in Mbengwi have focused on strengthening administrative coordination and improving dialogue between citizens and public institutions. In Njikwa, attention has centered on agricultural productivity, rural road accessibility, and support for farmers. Widikum has seen initiatives encouraging women’s cooperatives and small-scale entrepreneurship, while Ngie has prioritized youth engagement, vocational training, and skills development.
In Batibo, sustained dialogue with traditional authorities, religious leaders, and community stakeholders has played a key role in reinforcing peace and social cohesion a foundation considered essential for long-term development.
Hon. Injoh also outlined a broader vision for the future of Momo Division one that prioritizes economic vibrancy, social harmony, and strong institutions. The vision includes enhanced collaboration between councils and national institutions, expanded rural electrification, sustainable water initiatives, youth-focused economic programs, and stronger support for women’s empowerment.
Participants were encouraged to strengthen dialogue within communities, promote entrepreneurship and innovation, and support initiatives that advance education, agriculture, and local governance.
Reaffirming the founder’s commitment to the Division, Hon. Injoh concluded by urging the people of Momo to translate their shared motto into concrete action.
“Peace must remain our strength, responsibility our compass, and development our shared destination,” she said.
The assembly concluded with a collective prayer for peace and prosperity across Mbengwi, Njikwa, Widikum, Ngie, and Batibo a symbolic reminder that the path to development for Momo Division lies in unity and cooperation.
