The Foreign Affairs Committee of the Cameroon National Assembly, under the stewardship of Honourable Banmi Emmanuel, is hereby recognized as the Most Active Committee of the Year 2025 for its outstanding contribution to parliamentary diplomacy, legislative scrutiny, and international engagement.

Throughout the 2025 parliamentary year, the Committee distinguished itself as a vital interface between the Cameroon National Assembly and the international community. It demonstrated exceptional consistency in examining international agreements, treaties, and cooperation frameworks, ensuring that Cameroon’s foreign engagements aligned with national interests and constitutional requirements. The Committee’s work significantly enriched plenary deliberations and strengthened Parliament’s oversight role in matters of foreign policy and international cooperation.

Under the leadership of Hon. Banmi Emmanuel, the Committee also played a central role in parliamentary diplomacy, receiving foreign delegations, engaging ambassadors and international partners, and supporting the activities of parliamentary friendship groups. Its disciplined sittings, high attendance rate, and quality reports reflected strong leadership, inclusiveness, and technical rigor.

By projecting Cameroon’s parliamentary voice beyond national borders while safeguarding legislative integrity at home, the Foreign Affairs Committee reaffirmed its strategic importance within the Cameroon National Assembly, meriting recognition as the Most Active Committee of 2025.
